Message from the Chairman
Welcome to the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce!
Perched along the picturesque northern shores of Puget Sound, Mukilteo boasts breathtaking views of the
Cascades and Olympic Mountains, earning it recognition as one of Money Magazine’s top 10 small towns to
live in (2011). Beyond its natural beauty and unique lighthouse, Mukilteo is a hub for business, hosting a diverse
range from local shops to global corporations like Boeing and Electroimpact. The city’s rich waterfront history,
complemented by a beautiful ferry terminal connecting us to Whidbey Island, and nearby museums and Paine
Field, residents and visitors have robust options. Mukilteo’s commitment to community and a thriving business
environment creates a cherished home for those who live, work, and play in this magnificent place.
As our mission statement says, “The Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce is an organization dedicated to promoting
business development and economic growth in the greater Mukilteo area.” This plays out through exciting
events that breathe life into our local businesses. Our monthly Chamber Breakfast, Business After Hours,
renowned wine tasting events, Music at the Beach, the Great Mukilteo Dog Show, and many other events, all
help build and support a thriving community.
Hospitality is at the heart of the Mukilteo community. Lodging features breathtaking views that augment restful
accommodations. When it is time for a bite to eat, your options are nearly endless. From coffee shops and cafes
to unforgettable burgers, bistros and fine dining, Mukilteo has it all.
Our award-winning golf course, numerous trail systems, dog park, spas, salons, and beaches are here to help
you unwind. There is nothing quite like watching the sunset from Lighthouse Park.
As a community member, and local business owner myself, it is my honor to serve
as the Chair of the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce for 2025. I am humbled to serve
alongside a board of gifted and talented business leaders. Seeing our members thrive in
our community is a cherished highlight of this position.
We are here to serve you. If you are considering moving to Mukilteo, starting a business
in Mukilteo, or are looking to take your business to the next level, the Mukilteo Chamber
of Commerce is an excellent place to start.
Jim Tinsley, 2025 Board Chairman
