Welcome to Burlington, WA, the “Hub City” of Skagit County.
Burlington is located at the crossroads of two important highways in
the State of Washington, State Route 20 and Interstate 5. Burlington is
the gateway to the incredibly scenic San Juan Islands to the west and
the majestically beautiful Cascade Mountains to the east. Our unique
location brings visitors from Canada to Vancouver and Grays Harbor
to Spokane to enjoy shopping, recreation, agriculture, arts, festivals,
and more.
Skagit County is embracing our unique lands in the valley and
has welcomed Agritourism for visitors and residents to enjoy. Here in
Burlington, we love to celebrate our land’s bounty. You definitely see it
in our local farm stands, U-pick berries, corn mazes, pumpkin patches,
farm tours, tree farms, farm stays, wineries, our beautiful wedding
Stephanie Rees venues, and of course, our longest-standing festival, Berry Dairy Days
President & CEO est. in 1937.
About Berry Dairy Days: Berry Dairy Days is hosted by the
Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the City of Burlington and, this year, Presented by Peoples
Bank. Each year on the third full weekend in June, Historical Downtown Burlington bursts at the
seams with three full days of entertainment for all ages. If you’d like to visit during Berry Dairy Days,
you will enjoy live music, a firework show, lawnmower races, a Smoke and Grill Competition, craft
vendors, a Grand Parade with over 75 entries, including an honorary Grand Marshal, tractors of
all shapes and sizes, big rigs, dancing horses, and so much more. You can check out details at
berrydairydays.com for more details. This historical festival wouldn’t be living on year after year
without community and visitor support.
Having a welcoming and beautiful place to work, play and live is essential for a good quality of
life, and we are lucky to be in the heart of this spectacular County.
