Welcome to the City of Burlington, the center of all Skagit
County has to offer. Whether Burlington is your final destination,
or a base camp to explore all the area has to offer, we are happy
you have chosen to stay with us.
Burlington offers many diverse recreational opportunities.
The Skagit River runs along our southern border, and is home to all
5 native species of salmon and two species of trout. In the winters,
the Skagit is home to one of the largest bald eagle populations in
Steve Sexton the United States. If you are looking to bike or hike, we have trails
Mayor for both in our area that offer world class views.
Term Expires Burlington also is home to one of the largest soccer complexes
12/31/2019 in America, hosting soccer tournaments, Frisbee tournaments, and
a new Quidditch Festival. In June thousands enjoy our Berry Dairy
Days Festival, and in September our Harvest festival features a Pumpkin Pitch competition,
hurling pumpkins hundreds of feet in the air.
Shopping at our malls, dining at our great restaurants, or visiting our Children’s Museum
are also great choices for you while you are here.
Burlington offers you a variety of things to do while you are here. I hope you enjoy your time
with us, and hope you can visit again soon.
